Adam Thacher has a fifteen year track record of completing searches quickly and successfully for individual companies, venture capital firms and private equity firms. He is known as a recruiter who delivers the highest level of personal service, becoming a trusted partner to each of his clients. Adam delivers a well-executed search process that keeps all stakeholders involved, resulting in exceptionally strong customer satisfaction and outstanding hires.

Prior to establishing Thacher Executive Search, LLC. in 2001, Adam held senior-level positions with two international retained search firms. He has also had line management experience at both startups and major corporations, including a position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for an early-stage technology company where he created and implemented the firm's first sales program, repositioned its primary business, and assisted in raising capital. Additionally he managed successful product lines at Nestle and Intuit.

Adam's fifteen years of experience in line management allows him to translate business objectives into recruiting requirements from the client's perspective. He effectively identifies and relates the client's true value proposition and the realistic challenges of the position to candidates, ensuring the highest potential match between the candidate and the client.

Adam holds an MBA in Marketing and Business Policy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Santa Barbara. Adam is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Association of Executive Search Consultants and the Trusted Advisors Group.

Residing in Piedmont, California with his wife and three children, Adam enjoys tennis, golf and photography. He is also very active in the Piedmont Public Schools.
